Andrea Strandberg – Stylist, Color Specialist and In-Salon Educator – Minnetonka Ridgedale
Fashion and Beauty have always been a great passion of mine. As a child, all of my Barbies had handmade outfits and short hair. Through my school years, the basement became my beauty shop. After a short stint in college, I decided to finally pursue a career in hair and have never looked back. I love what I do; it’s a perfect mix for my creativity.
I have now been in the beauty industry for over seven years, and doing hair for over five years. I take every class that is available to me to gain as much knowledge and inspiration as possible. I most recently completed Colour Space with David Adams, the Artistic Creative Director for Aveda, and Lupe Voss, an amazing Aveda Color Artist.
Color is something I am especially passionate about; the hair is my canvas with endless possibilities. I love doing everything, from minor touch-ups to major changes. I also greatly enjoy creating new shapes in hair, with unique haircuts and lots of texture. Each haircut is one of a kind and designed with you in mind.
Fusion extensions are another one of my specialties. It is amazing what a difference a few extensions can make for any head of hair. Whether you are looking for length, volume, or fun colors, extensions are an interesting option to consider.
