How long has New Reflections been in business?

What is the difference between New Reflections Salon an aveda concepts salon and Aveda?
New Reflections is an Aveda salon, but we are not owned by Aveda. We use and sell Aveda products in our salon spas, and we adhere to the Aveda philosophy, as do other Aveda concept salons throughout the world.
What is New Reflections retail return policy?
Product may be returned for either store credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase, and only with original receipt. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without receipt. All sales final on sale items, holiday gift sets, and gift cards.
Can I purchase AVEDA products online? And is it safe?

What can be purchased with a New Reflections Salon Gift Cards?
Both our older New Reflections Salon paper Gift Certificates, our new plastic Gift Cards and printable Gift Cards are redeemable in products, services, tip - or any combination - equal to the dollar amount of the gift card/certificate, at any one or combination of New Reflections Salon locations [gift cards].
Are New Reflections Salon Gift Cards valid only at New Reflections Salon Salon Spa locations?
Yes. Both our older New Reflections Salon paper Gift Certificates and our new plastic or printable Gift Cards are available in any dollar amount and are redeemable for products, services or both at any New Reflections Salon location. Please note: New Reflections Salon Gift Cards are NOT valid at other Aveda concept / lifestyle salons or Aveda Experience stores.
What is New Reflections Retail Return Policy?
Our Retail Return Policy is within 30 days of purchase with an original receipt. Store Credit will be given. No returns or exchanges with out a receipt. All sales final on sale items, holiday gift sets and gift cards.
Can men visit New Reflections Salon?
Yes. In today's world, men are as fashion-conscious as women and deserve a quality experience. Men can and have experienced all of our services. Many men also visit us to purchase Gift Cards for their loved ones.
Do Gift Cards Expire?
As of August 1, 2007, our gift cards are subject to Minnesota Gift Card Expiration Statute. Escheat – Gift cards are exempt from the definition of intangible property. Minnesota Stat. § 345.39.
Minnesota law (¶32,314) prohibits expiration dates and service fees for gift certificates and gift cards. Laws of 2007, Chapter 93, approved May 21, 2007, effective August 1, 2007 and thereafter.
How to Spa
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions and answers to make your Spa experience most enjoyable.
How early should I arrive when booking a spa treatment?
Arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment to allow
yourself ample time to check in, change and relax while enjoying a refreshment.
What do I need to bring?
New Reflections provides robes, towels and lockers with keys for the time you spend at the spa. We also provide showers and Aveda amenities for your use. If you are receiving a pedicure please wear open toed shoes - flip-flops are recommended.
Can I receive any nail services if I am experiencing any foot or nail conditions?
To ensure the health and safety of all our guests and our team, if you are experiencing any foot or nail conditions please seek medical care before scheduling your nail appointments. New Reflections reserves the right to deny services for the protection of our guests and team members.
Should I alert Guest Service if I have any physical Ailments, Allergies or if I am pregnant?
Absolutely! Only to serve you better, please let us know when making your reservation. We will also have you fill out our questionnaire when you check in. If you are pregnant, you will want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and hydrotherapy treatments involving heat. It is also a good policy to check with your doctor if you have any concerns.
Do I have to disrobe entirely for a spa Treatment?
You can disrobe to your comfort level. We do recommend removing all your street clothes and slipping into one of our spa robes provided for you. Your privacy is protected at all times.
Please be sure to drink plenty of water after your treatments to replenish your body's natural balance.
What is your cell phone policy?
We ask that all spa guests either silence or turn off their cell phones, PDAs, and pagers before entering the spa. This policy is to ensure the comfort of all of our guests, and to aid in your personal relaxation during our time with us.
How much should I tip?
Generally tipping for the services we provide is handled much like any other service you would tip for; 10%-20% is appropriate. However, as with all tipping, it is personal and dependant on the quality of your service.
New Reflections no longer accepts personal checks, but we will gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept Aveda and New Reflections Salon Gift Cards as well as Spa Finder, Spa Wish Spa Week, Hallmark Premiere Choice and Cash.
Punctuality - we greatly appreciate your punctuality so that all guests can be accommodated. We understand circumstances may arise that impact your arrival and we will do everything possible to accommodate you. However, in some cases it may be necessary to shorten or reschedule your service.
Deposits - We ask for a credit card deposit when booking three or more services and with groups of three or more persons. The only time a charge is applied to the card is if a cancellation within 24 hours or a no-show occurs. The charge is equal to the value of the reservation.
Cancellations - To better serve the needs of all our guests, we request 24 hours advance notice when canceling an appointment. If 3 appointments have been cancelled or missed without a 24-hour notice, a pre-payment will be required via Master Card or Visa before your next appointment.
Children - We strive to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for all our guests. We request children be brought into the salon only when they have an appointment. For everyone's comfort and privacy no children are allowed in the spa.
If you are receiving a special occasion hair or cosmetic service, we recommend wearing a button-down top for easy changing.
